At the end of class on Monday we read through some biographies about Gary Soto. Tell me on thing that you thought was important and one thing that you thought was interesting from what you read.

I NOTICED IN GAY SOTO'S WRITING HE LIKES TO PUT TWO DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES ABOUT 1 SUBJECT. IN THE FIRST 2 SCENES HE DID BOY'S PERSPECTIVES AND GIRL'S PERSPECTIVES. ALSO IN BOTH OF THE SCENES THEY TALK ABOUT THE SAME CHARACTERS.
I teach Humanities in Academy Three. Our goal is to support our students learning holistically, mind, body, and soul. In Academy Three we are focusing on literacy and this blog is one way that I will be able to monitor my students progress as we explore the author and genre studies throughout the year.
